Meet Dr. Scott Fontana (Lakeville, MN)

Scott Fontana, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1983 and earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Fontana’s special fields of interest include providing thorough, comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings (especially for difficult-to-fit patients), the latest dry eye treatments, and the treatment and management of eye disease.

While in graduate school, Dr. Fontana took a psychology course titled Vision Perception that ignited his interest in the possibilities of a career in optometry.

Dr. Fontana particularly enjoys getting to know his patients and putting them at ease by creating a comfortable and easygoing atmosphere. Most importantly, he takes extra care to ensure that all your questions and eye-health concerns are addressed during your visit.

When he is away from the office, Dr. Fontana enjoys supporting the Minnesota Vikings and staying active by fishing, cycling, and skiing.
